Concern for Animals has lots of volunteer opportunities available to help our animals and programs!  We often need volunteers to help with special events, like Toasts for Tails, and renovation projects at our new office, located at 1414 State Avenue, Olympia.  Once you’re on our volunteer list, we will send out frequent email communications about our needs and events.  Here are some volunteer opportunities...

Food Bank

We need volunteers to help staff the Food Bank on the first Saturday of each month.  The Drop-Off hours are 10:30-11:30 a.m. in the parking lot of Rick's Automotive, 3531 Pacific Avenue, Olympia (off Fones Road and behind Phyl's Furniture).  If interested in volunteering, please contact Sarah at Sarah@concernforaimals.org.  Thank you for helping us stock our Food Bank so pet owners in need can feed their dogs and cats.

Lacey Fun Fair

May 19-20:  St. Martin’s University is the location for this two-day fun event. Come enjoy crafts, entertainment, activities, vendors, food and more.  May 19 Shifts: 9:30 am – 12:30 pm, 12:30-3:30 pm or 3:30-6:30 pm.  May 20 Shifts: 10:30 am-1:30 pm, 1:30 pm-4:30 pm.

Garage Sale

Saturday, June 2:  Two shifts needed to help set up, sell and clean up. Shifts: 8:30 am-12:30 pm or 12:30 pm -4 p.m.   Volunteers needed before the sale to help set up on Thursday, May 31 from 4:00-7:00 p.m.  Let me know if you can help out!  Have items to donate to the sale?  Drop off hours will be every Monday in April from 5-6 p.m. at 1414 State Avenue, Olympia.
